I am checking out Logseq to be able to use with my company. So I understand that the files are .md and stored locally but where does Logseq actually run? Am I sending requests to a server to write and search to my local drive or is it all “in browser”?

The live demo runs totally in your browser, reading and writing data to the folder you select.
Or download local app which runs completely offline (unless you allow it to send info to logseq).
If you’re using the desktop app, everything is offline (except usage data - you may allow or disallow it)
