Why Does Logseq Ask Me To Input Information?

When I run Logseq everything opens up fine but then it hits me with an annoying pop up asking me to input my username and email address.

Is there a way to get rid of this?

I am using Logseq due to it being private and don’t want to have to put any of my info in order to use the product.

Git requires both the username and email address to commit, your data is only stored locally, you can type anything there to finish the step. If you just want to skip this step, go to Settings > Version control, disable git auto-commit and restart the app.
