Note to the mods
People seem to be having similar troubles with other settings:
Yeah, I can confirm this. Disabling Journals had no effect whatsoever.
As a partial workaround, maybe you could Set the default home page to a page of your choosing. The journals will still be there, but at least Logseq won’t take you there upon startup.
