Implement automatic highlight location mapping in PDF annotation. Allow users to select and specify the location for new highlights during the annotation process. Instead of just appending it to the page.
This a big issue when you have a lot of notes, especially when you are dealing with textbooks and text dense stuff. Some good cases are when you organize your PDF annotations and notes based on the type of the note or the content table of the book.
The struggle is you have to go back to the beginning of the notes, cut or drag it to where it suppose to be. Meanwhile if we had something like a pointer or indicator where simply choose a block as the parent, then any other new note will be append to it.
There is similar feature request, however it is less general and intuitive.
